Discraft Zone OS

The Zone OS is a very overstable putt-and-approach disc with flight numbers 4 | 2 | 1 | 5. Designed as the more extreme, wind-fighting companion to the standard Zone, the Zone OS delivers instant fade, minimal glide, and complete torque resistance.

This disc is ideal for:

Short-range utility shots
Aggressive forehand approaches
Skip shots and forced hyzer lines
Wind-heavy conditions or open-course play

Compared to the standard Zone:

The Zone OS is significantly more overstable
It begins fading earlier in the flight
It is better suited to power throws, forehands, and specialty angles
It trades workable shaping control for absolute reliability

Plastic Comparison

Plastic	Feel + Flight Notes
Z-Line	Very firm and highly durable. Provides maximum overstability with a strong, reliable fade every time.
ESP	Slightly more grip with a smoother release. Still extremely overstable, with a slightly less abrupt early fade.
ESP FLX	Flexible and grippy. Reduces ground skip and handles torque exceptionally well, especially on forehands.
Jawbreaker (and Variants)	Softer, chalky texture. Produces a slower, lower-skip flight while remaining solidly overstable for touch-controlled approaches.
Hard / Soft Blend Variants	Mainly affects hand feel. The flight remains consistently overstable regardless of blend firmness.
